The beehives/catcher box entrance disc is a , a component used in beekeeping to manage bee access and hive ventilation. The disc features four settings, each serving a specific purpose: 

• Ventilate:

This setting features a grated opening, allowing air to circulate through the hive for ventilation. 

• Close:

In this position, the entrance is fully sealed, preventing bees from entering or exiting. 

• Queen Exclude:

This setting uses a smaller opening or a queen excluder grid, allowing worker bees to pass through while preventing the larger queen bee from leaving the hive. 

• Open:

This position provides a wide, unobstructed opening, allowing free movement for all bees in and out of the hive.
